Four weeks to win

Hi,

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. That's four weeks from now. So here's my question for you this week: what are you going to do to help the Dems win?

The Big Thing

You don't have to do everything. You just have to do something, on purpose. My rule is simple: pick one, plus one.

  • Confirm your registration this week. It takes two minutes at IWillVote.com. Deadlines are coming fast in some states.
  • Pick one race and give it real time. Phone bank, text bank, write postcards or chip in.
  • Bring one person with you. A friend, a neighbor, your kid in college. Send them to IWillVote.com too.
  • Make your own plan. Know your ballot and decide when and how you'll vote.

That's it. The bare minimum, done well, wins elections.

Meet My Guest

Tomorrow I get to host Dr. Rachel Bitecofer, and I am a huge fan.

Here's a little backstory: I discovered Rachel and helped bring her to The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell for her debut. It is one of the things I'm proudest of. It takes a village!

Tomorrow we'll talk about where our help is most useful in the House, Senate and governor races, and what comes next. Bring your questions!

What I'm Watching

Lawrence O'Donnell looks at Trump's recent Time magazine interview. Worth a watch, and worth sharing. Watch it here.
